Learn travel tips and enjoy images from Jeremy Woodhouse, founder of Pixelchrome stock photography and tours, at our first Thursday meeting.

May2019_JW_400w_bus crowd_0179Jeremy has been an international stock photographer affiliated with Getty Images since 1995, and has been leading photo tours full-time since 2011. He has photographed city skylines around the world, landscapes and nature subjects. He was a co-owner of Blend Images, a lifestyle stock photography.

Over the years, Jeremy has traveled to more than 80 countries and since 2011, he has led and/or coordinated more than 100 international photo tours. His current passion is photographing people in developing countries.

Jeremy has received numerous awards and recognition in Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Nature’s Best International Photography competitions. He has been a regular finalist in the United Kingdom-based Travel Photographer of the Year Award and was winner of its Best Single Image in a portfolio titled “MANKIND” in 2016. His images have been included in exhibitions at the Smithsonian Institution, Dallas Museum of Natural History and Natural History Museum, London.

May Competition Reminder

Note that May is a closed topic month for all competition. Entries may be of any subject, but the entry (print or digital) must have been made in calendar year 2019. Entries are due at this meeting, May 2, and will be reviewed at our second Thursday meeting May 16.

Year-end Award Winners: 2018

Fort Worth Camera Club members earned ribbons and plaques and celebrated the fun of photography at the the annual December year-end awards banquet.

Winning images and photographers/members received the highest point totals in monthly competition in 2018. Awards were presented Dec. 6. Want to enter competition? Learn how.
