Club member Saskia Vaughan will share her experiences with the Wildlife in Focus competition. She participated in the contest this year and received three awards for her images. She was at Circle T Ranch in Carrizo Springs, in South Texas, during February and May 2025.

Wildlife in Focus is a non-profit organization that promotes conservation and protection of wildlife and habitat in Texas. The photo competition was created to promote appreciation of wildlife and habitats, the importance and success of conservation on private land and nature photography.

Saskia regularly wins awards for her images, and was named 2023 Photographer of the Year in the club’s year-end Class B Competition. She is 2025 club treasurer.
