The U.S. New and World Report named the Fort Worth Zoo as one of the best in the country in 2023. With the recently opened Predators of Asia and Africa exhibit the zoo provides many opportunities to photograph species from around the world.
Located south of I-30 between the river and Texas Christian University a leisurely day of photography with unique subjects may be had. Come out and meet Travis, the baby elephant, in the Elephant Springs habitat from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Pele, a baby giraffe, born this June, in the African Savanna habitat.
