Dallas-based photographer Nikola Olic describes his work as poetry and portraiture in architecture, images that show structures, but transmit a sense of personality and emotion to the viewer.
“Architectural portraiture departs from classic architectural photography by reframing architectural structures as sculptures of the modern everyday,” he says.
Olić is among 30 photographers included in the 2023 Aesthetica Art Prize.
