Ron Shue 400wRon’s macro workshop is aimed at creating inspiration for us, with suggestions for macro technique and plenty of photo examples.

The workshop will examine the lenses and accessories used, along with tips for settings and practical use. The workshop will discuss specialized software such as Helicon Focus that can be used to get the most out of your work.

Ron is a retired director from Lockheed Martin, who has been a photographer for more than 20 years – shooting exclusively digital starting in 2002.  He is a member of our Fort Worth Club and he is also a member and president of the Cowtown Camera Club.

Ron primarily shoots landscape and wildlife with the occasional rodeo and drag racing event thrown in for extra excitement.  He recently received recognition with a wildlife image published in the 2018 Nature’s Best Photography – Windland Smith Rice wildlife competition.
