Professional photographer Gabriel Alonso, a frequent judge and speaker for Fort Worth Camera Club, will discuss techniques for making infrared images.

The infrared spectrum is light that is not visible to the human eye. The human eye normally can see a color range determined by a measure of wavelength nanometers, or nm. We view wavelengths of 400 nm to 700 nm. Infrared light is beyond 700 nm.

Competition Reminder

You may want to practice infrared photography in time for monthly competition. Digital images may be submitted by midnight on the first Thursday of each month. Competition is open only to members who have paid current year dues.

COVID-19 Reminder

Our in-person meetings are open to the public, but have been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.. When possible, we will offer programs online to members and/or to the public. Stay safe. Learn more.
