Download the handout (PDF Layers Workshop Sharon Sturgis 2019) and have fun learning layers!

  • 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019
  • UNT Health Science Center, 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd.; find directions to our meeting room
  • Photoshop Layers Explained, Sharon Sturgis and David Bee

Learn about the Photoshop Layers function and how to use it to enhance your images at a second Layers workshop led by club members David Bee and  Sharon Sturgis.

Says Sharon:

“We will do the PS Layers class again. This will cover the basic uses for layers, blending layers, using adjustment layers and other useful tips. Please know the Photoshop Basics or this will not make sense to you.  If we have time, we will practice at the end of the class.  Two hours can only cover the basics, but we hope to get you started on a fun world of new technique.”

Participants should bring a laptop with Photoshop software installed and operating to follow the discussion and to practice using layers.

David and Sharon regularly win awards in club competition. David is Workshop coordinator; Sharon is an instructor at Tarrant Community College District.
