Participants are responsible for travel, park fees, lodging and food, plus all personal photo equipment and/or camping gear.
The park is in and near the town of Washington, Ark., which was the capital of Arkansas during the Civil War. Photogenic buildings and displays include a courthouse, schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, weapons museum, kitchen and others. Park staff in period clothing are usually available for photos and historical information.
