Join aviation and auto photo specialist Jay Miller at our first Thursday meeting. Emphasis will be on these aerial photography skills:
- Variables, such as static versus air-to-air, helicopters versus fixed wing, and photographing race cars at speed
He will also cover night photography and the use of studio flash equipment on the ramp, interior lighting, the importance of remote triggers, and the importance of ambient light when shooting at sunset or after sundown.
Everything from ISOs to shutter speeds and apertures will be addressed as they relate to Jay’s specific photography requirements. Bring your questions!
Jay received the International Society for Aviation Photography (ISAP) George Hall Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. The award recognizes outstanding individuals whose initiative and dedication to aviation photography has improved the profession and positively influenced others.
