- Sharon Sturgis, Capture the Magic of Light
A beautiful photograph comes from the light, says Master photographer Sharon Sturgis.
In this free beginners’ workshop, we will learn how to use three important camera features: aperture, shutter and ISO. These tools allow photographers to capture light to showcase their vision – artistic expression, family event, landscape or other image.
The interaction between these three functions gives photographers complete control over such variables as light, subject movement/action and depth of field. Attendees will learn how to understand and use their camera’s manual settings to create beautiful images.
Participants should bring their camera and its user’s guide to class. Sharon is a Canon user, but can answer questions about other camera brands.
Sharon is an instructor at Tarrant Community College. Her images regularly win awards at Fort Worth Camera Club, Trinity Arts Photo Club and other competitions.
