Edgar Miller, director of education for Fort Worth Camera, will share his philosophy of photography and discuss how he expresses his creative vision at 7 p.m. Sept. 6, our first Thursday meeting.
The meeting will be at the club’s usual location, UNTHSC, 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd., Our meeting room is in the Research and Education Building at the corner of Clifton Street and Camp Bowie. You may enter the free parking lot and go to the lower level to find Room 100, Everett Hall.
Edgar earned a bachelor of fine arts from Lamar University in 1992. In addition to teaching workshops and classes, he exhibits his fine art photography in Texas and national exhibitions.
He taught high school art and photography for 10 years and now uses his passion for art and learning as an instructor at Fort Worth Camera. With influences from his late father and his photo professor, Keith Carter, he continues to find interesting light on interesting subjects.
